A very high % of Peru and Chili are Catholic, but yes it is different here. People are actually born Catholic, it almost seem more like a political party than religion, but it is definitely religion and most are Catholic, and attend Catholic Schools because the Government wants all the children to be educated in Catholic Schools because it is a better education. Then, some of the adult tour leaders say they don't go to church after they are out of school. Needless to say, it doesn't look that way because of the number of churches and how beautiful they are. There are statues of the Blessed Mother all over these countries. So to show a few of the more beautiful places I will attach a few pictures. We even saw a parade one evening honoring one of the saints feast days.
