Santiago Chili
We arrived in Chili on Valentines Day and had a very nice dinner with our group at a winery. Yummy Chilean wine. Today we toured Santiago and went to the top of the mountain to see the very large statue of the Immaculate Conception which overlooks this city of 9 million people. Quite amazing sites. We are really having a wonderful time. Have met so many nice folks from all over the country including Canada. Anyway, we sometimes have to pinch ourselves to actually believe we are having all of these incredible experience. We are truly blessed. Our tour director for the rest of the tour is a handsome young Chilean native. What fun! The Chilean miner was a real person and I talked with him, what a moving experience, he was doing kind of a mime and then would be very still that he looked like a statue. Chili is a very friendly place. Tomorrow we are on a day trip to another location. Tell you tomorrow!
